Dr. Ewa Ewa to be awarded the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition International Humanitarian Award!

Dr. Ewa Ewa
Activist & Community Organizer
Chicago, IL

Dear Dr. Ewa:

At the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, in America, and around the world, we continue to face major challenges to our global village’s future progress. Poverty, unemployment, security, conflicts, human rights, etc., are all vital issues we need to seriously tackle to safe humanity. We must continue to build relationships and coalition in order to fight and defend our gains, while adding to them. We must defend the poor and fight for working people and the disenfranchised, tackling the serious income and wealth inequality in the U.S and around the world. We accept the biblical imperative to fight for the least of these, which remains our moral compass and how we measure character and courage. We’re making the case that inclusion leads to growth; and when there is growth everybody wins. Diversity and inclusion are now front and center in our national and global agenda.

As a civil rights leader, a fight is a fight no matter what you are fighting for. Ideals such as dignity, freedom and equality unfortunately come with a price. When we fight we gain friends and build coalition as we continue to carry the torch of peace, freedom, and justice and pass it on. That is why I am inviting you to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition & Citizenship Education 56th Annual International Convention, scheduled for June 18 – 22, 2022 (IN-PERSON), at South Shore Cultural Center – 7095 S. South Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60649. Our purpose has never changed and our issues are on the rise.

I want to inform you that you will be awarded the “Rainbow/PUSH Coalition International Humanitarian Award” for your tireless work and advocacy for the community and the African Diaspora.

We would also like for you to participate as the MODERATOR at a forum entitled “Global and Africa Diaspora Investment Forum,” scheduled for Tuesday, June 21, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

This session is a follow up of last year’s “Africa Investment Opportunities Forum and this year’s Wall Street Annual Summit scheduled in New York in February. Panelists will discuss Africa’s continuing tremendous business opportunities not only in oil, gas and natural resources, but also in areas such as energy, telecommunications, technology, entertainment, construction, financial services, and tourism in their respective countries/sectors. Other areas of investment opportunities with the Diaspora (Caribbean, Americas, etc.) will also be explored.

We look forward to your positive response to assist in getting us informed, inspired, involved, and thus safe humanity.

Sincerely,
Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.
