Andrew Eperi is the managing editor of Afrique Magazine, a mainly an online publication, that publishes monthly. Eperi, a native Nigerian, immigrated to Chicago in 1981 and attended the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Afrique, currently in its eighteenth volume, covers news and events from the vast African immigrant and African American communities throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. The magazine’s theme is to “Connect and Empower People of African Descent”.
